On November 21, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police said that Song Pha Pass on National Highway 27 was reopened from 10:00 a.m. on the same day.
This was done after the authorities of Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces cleared the landslides, placed warning signs and arranged checkpoints at the landslide locations.
Previously, the road was closed from noon on November 19 due to more than 15 landslides that appeared after prolonged heavy rain.

Song Pha Pass connects Nha Trang - Phan Rang (old Ninh Thuan) with Lam Dong, and is also one of the approaches to Da Lat (after changing direction from National Highway 27 to National Highway 20.
After reopening, the authorities recommend that drivers keep a safe distance, do not park under the positive slope, and follow regulations, especially when it is still raining.
The opening of Song Pha Pass will help traffic flow smoothly on National Highway 27. However, some other important passes are still blocked due to serious landslides.

According to the update until noon on November 21: Prenn Pass (QL20): temporarily stopped at km224+600 - km224+700, dangerous area prohibiting people and vehicles from passing.
Mimosa Pass (QL20): Completely broken, surveyed and a plan is being prepared to overcome.
Khanh Le Pass (QL27C): Still temporarily suspended, being inspected and restored after landslides on November 16.
D'Ran Pass (QL20): Temporarily stop to handle landslides; vehicles entering the center of Da Lat must use Ta Nung Pass (TL725, connecting to National Highway 2027) and Sacom Pass.
Bao Loc Pass (QL20): Regular traffic connection between Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai and Lam Dong is recommended to prioritize this direction.
Da Mi Pass (QL55): No landslides recorded, normal traffic.
Gia Bac Pass (QL28) and Dai Ninh Pass (QL28B): While overcoming landslides and upgrading, vehicles move slowly.
