On the afternoon of June 25, at the Hon Da Bac National Historical Relic Site, Da Bac commune, Ca Mau province, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee of Ca Mau to organize the inauguration ceremony of the relic site upgrade project and donate 500 houses to people in difficult circumstances.
Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and representatives of leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security, departments, branches and localities.

The project to upgrade the Hon Da Bac National Historical Relic Site is carried out on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026) and the 42nd Anniversary of the Victory of the CM12 Counter-intelligence Plan (September 9, 1984 - September 9, 2026).
Speaking at the ceremony, Ca Mau Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai said that the upgrading of Hon Da Bac Relic Site not only contributes to preserving and promoting the historical value of the CM12 Counterintelligence Plan Victory, but also creates another red address for educating revolutionary traditions and patriotism for younger generations.

According to Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, along with the relic site upgrade project, the program to support the construction of 500 houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances shows the companionship of the Ministry of Public Security with localities in implementing social security work, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives and feel secure in labor production.
At the program, the Ministry of Public Security and sponsoring units presented symbolic signs handing over 500 houses to Ca Mau province; donated equipment for display and propaganda work at Hon Da Bac Relic Site; presented 20 gifts to policy families and households in difficult circumstances and presented 11 wheelchairs to people with disabilities.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with achievements in the process of implementing the project to upgrade the Hon Da Bac Relic Site and the program to build 500 houses for people were commended and rewarded by the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.
Previously, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung and the Ministry of Public Security working delegation attended the handover ceremony of houses to Mr. Ly Huynh's family in Sao Luoi B hamlet, Da Bac commune. This is one of 500 households supported to build houses from the social security program implemented by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Ca Mau province.
