On the morning of December 3, the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Da Nang City, term 2025 - 2030, closed after two days of serious, democratic and innovative work.
The Congress agreed to unanimously elect Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, term I, 2025 - 2030. The conference also elected 8 Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
The Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City include: Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - President of the City Labor Federation; Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong - President of the City Women's Union; Ms. Le Thi Minh Tam - President of the City Farmers' Association; Mr. Truong Chi Lang - President of the City Veterans' Association and Mr. Le Cong Hung - Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union. The three full-time Vice Chairmen are Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung, Ms. Tran Thi Man, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, term I, 2025 - 2030, consists of 115 members (less than 5 members), who are outstanding individuals, representing all classes, classes of people, ethnic groups, and religions in the area, meeting the requirements and tasks of the Front's work in the new period.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Le Tri Thanh affirmed that the first Congress is a historic event, opening a new chapter for the work of the city's Front.
The Congress unanimously approved the Resolution and Action Program for the 2025-2030 term with the general goal: "Promoting the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in implementing democracy, enhancing solidarity and social consensus, contributing to building a civilized, modern Da Nang city with a high quality of life".
To realize this goal, the action program has clearly identified 3 key tasks and 6 main activities, aiming to arouse all potential and intelligence in the people, crystallize great power, and contribute to the overall development of the city.
"With all the faith, aspiration, intelligence and courage, the Congress affirms the determination to overcome all difficulties and challenges, building the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city to achieve the most positive results, worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party Committee, government and people of the city", Mr. Le Tri Thanh emphasized.
In his speech, the Chairman also respectfully expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the previous term for many reasons of not continuing to participate in the new term, and at the same time hoped to continue to contribute enthusiastically and experience to the cause of great national unity.
