On December 15, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province held the 15th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of nearly 200 delegates representing more than 188,000 union members and youth in the whole province.
Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

The leaders of Lang Son province attended the Congress, including Ms. Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of departments, branches, unions and generations of Youth Union officials from different periods.
According to the report at the Congress, in the 2022-2025 period, the Youth Union at all levels in the province have completed and exceeded all 13 targets set.
The whole province recorded more than 812,000 union members and young people participating in volunteer activities, reaching 169% of the target; planting 750,000 new trees; outstanding loans entrusted through the Social Policy Bank managed by the Youth Union reached more than 1,133 billion VND; supporting 54 projects and youth startup models.
Career counseling and job introduction work has been widely deployed, with nearly 40,000 young people supported. 100% of the communes, wards and towns' Youth Union helped at least one young household escape poverty.

More than 60,000 young people participated in activities to improve foreign language proficiency and integrate internationally.
With the action slogan "Solidarity - bravery - Pioneering - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress set out 12 key targets, two breakthrough tasks along with groups of solutions to improve the effectiveness of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the 2025-2030 term.
At the discussion sessions, delegates focused on discussing the role of youth in protecting borders and boundaries; applying digital technology in legal propaganda, gathering young people; improving the effectiveness of volunteer movements.
In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam praised the achievements of Lang Son youth, and at the same time suggested that the new term should closely link the Youth Union work with the major resolutions and orientations of the Party and the Youth Union Central Committee; promote digital transformation in propaganda, political and ideological education; improve the quality of grassroots Youth Union organization, taking practical effectiveness as a measure.

The leaders of the Central Youth Union also emphasized the need to create a breakthrough in improving digital capacity, artificial intelligence, science and technology and supporting innovative startups; building a team of Youth Union cadres who dare to think, dare to do, be close to the grassroots, and be close to the youth.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Doan Thi Hau acknowledged and congratulated the results of the Youth Union's work over the past term, and at the same time requested union members and young people to continue to practice comprehensively, master technology, take the lead in digital transformation, develop clean agriculture, community tourism and preserve cultural identity.
The provincial leaders emphasized the role of young people in implementing the double-digit GRDP growth target, participating in infrastructure construction, environmental protection, maintaining urban order, developing tourism and creating sustainable jobs in the locality.
The Congress introduced the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province, term XV, 2025-2030, consisting of 32 members.
Mr. Doan Thanh Cong continues to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Youth Union.
