Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee recently announced the decision to mobilize, appoint and appoint many leaders of departments, branches and localities in the province.
In which, Mr. Nguyen Van Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thieu Hoa commune - was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hac Thanh Ward Party Committee.
It is known that Mr. Nguyen Van Bien (45 years old, from Hoang Quy commune, old Hoang Hoa district - now Hoang Phu commune, Thanh Hoa province) has a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Construction Business Administration; Master's degree in Industrial and Construction Business Administration; Master's degree in Policy Research; Senior Political Theory.
During his working career, Mr. Bien has held positions such as: Deputy Head of the Economic - Financial Department under the Provincial People's Committee Office, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs. In 2020, he was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Thieu Hoa District Party Committee, and was then elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Thieu Hoa District People's Council. From July 1, 2025, Mr. Bien was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Thieu Hoa commune.
Previously, the position of Secretary of the Hac Thanh Ward Party Committee was vacant because Mr. Le Anh Xuan - former Secretary of the Ward Party Committee - was prosecuted and temporarily detained to investigate the case of Mr. Cao Tien Doan, General Director of Dong A Real Estate Group Company Limited.
Hac Thanh ward is considered a "super ward" of Thanh Hoa province, established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Phu Son, Lam Son, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Trao, Dong Son, Truong Thi, Dien Bien, Dong Huong, Dong Hai, Dong Ve wards, along with part of the area and population of Dong Tho and An Hung wards.
The ward has more than 197,000 people, with an area of 24.63km2. After the merger, the Hac Thanh Ward Party Committee has 278 grassroots Party organizations under its management, including 153 Party Committees, Party cells of agencies, enterprises and 125 Party cells of residential groups with 14,628 Party members.
