Accordingly, in order to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles and speed up the implementation progress of wind power projects in the province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Pham Van Thinh commented:
Assign the Department of Finance: Preside over and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies to review wind power projects in the province that have met the prescribed conditions to urge the preparation of documents and organize appraisal, submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of investment policies to be completed in September 2025 (complete at least 2 projects in Resolution No. 19/NQ-HDND dated 3/4/2025 of the People's Council of Bac Giang province).
Assign the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant agencies to prepare documents to invite interest for wind power projects that have been approved for investment to select investors according to regulations, and submit them to competent authorities for approval before October 15, 2025.
Monitor, urge, and request investors and agencies to focus on speeding up the progress of assigned tasks and tasks; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles and report and advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to speed up the implementation progress of wind power projects.
According to the reporter's research, Resolution No. 19/NQ-HDND dated April 3, 2025 of the People's Council of Bac Giang province (old) decides on the list of land plots to be bid to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Bac Giang province.
Of which, there are 5 plots of land planned for energy projects (wind power plants), with a total area of 207.06 hectares, including:
The land of the Yen Dung Wind Power Plant is 52.93 ha; The land of the SD Son Dong Wind Power Plant is 55 ha; The land of the Bac Giang Wind Power Plant is 33.38 ha; The land of the Luc Ngan Wind Power Plant is 33.65 ha; The land of the Tan Son Wind Power Plant is 32.1 ha.
On June 12, 2025, the People's Committee of Bac Giang province (old) allowed the postponement of the detailed planning of SD Son Dong Wind Power Plant; Bac Giang 2 Wind Power Plant after the Government issued a Decree regulating decentralization, division of responsibilities and authority in urban and rural planning activities when organizing local authorities at 2 levels and amending and supplementing a number of relevant regulations in the Law on Urban and Rural Planning.
The People's Committee of Bac Giang province (old) requested the Department of Industry and Trade to refer to experience in provinces, localities, and units that have been implementing similar wind power plant projects.
