Affirming the mark of a term
On October 30, 2025, at the Head Office of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank), the 5th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, term 2025-2030, took place.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Pham Chi Thanh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Youth Union, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy General Director, Secretary of the Youth Union emphasized: "The 5th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Agribank Vietnam Youth Union, term 2025 - 2030, is a political event of special significance, a period of extensive political activity of Agribank's youth - demonstrating the mettle, intelligence, pioneering spirit and aspiration to contribute in the era of integration and digital transformation".
According to the Political Report submitted to the Congress, in the past period, the work of the Agribank Youth Union and Youth Union has achieved outstanding results, all targets were achieved, with targets exceeding the plan set by the Resolution of the 4th Youth Union Congress.
Recognizing the results of the activities of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the recent term, Comrade To Huy Vu - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Agribank affirmed: In the overall success of the entire system, the Agribank Party Committee always recognizes and highly appreciates the core and impact role of the youth force - accounting for nearly 50% of the total number of employees. You have inherited the traditions of previous generations, creating very impressive and comprehensive impressions. I am especially moved by the two figures: one is 7,815 units of blood donated by comrades (exceeding 313% of the registered target), and the other is that more than 169,000 new trees have been planted, contributing to realizing Agribank's commitment to For a Green Future, shared the Chairman of the Board of Members.
Building the Agribank Youth Generation Young Aspiration - Green Action Digital Future
Based on the results achieved in the past term, the Congress agreed on key tasks including 4 pioneering programs and 3 programs "Comprehensive development of Agribank's youth". 04 pioneering programs in the new era: (1) Pioneering in completing business tasks excellently; (2) Pioneering in building Agribank culture, building the image of Agribank - For a green future and sustainable development; (3) Pioneering in developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and international integration; (4) Pioneering in volunteer activities for the community, defending the Fatherland. The three programs "Comprehensive development of Agribank's youth" are: (1) In learning, developing intelligence; (2) In developing, training physical fitness; (3) In improving cultural and spiritual life.
