Enterprise fined 140 million VND for occupying industrial park land in Lao Cai

Lao Cai - Asia High-Tech Equipment Company Limited was fined for occupying nearly 5,000m2 of land in Minh Quan Industrial Park.

On December 25, according to information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the People's Committee of Au Lau ward decided to administratively sanction Asia High-Tech Equipment Company Limited for occupying land in Minh Quan Industrial Park.

According to the records, Asia High-Tech Equipment Company Limited is headquartered at Lot A5, Minh Quan Industrial Park ( Au Lau Ward), the legal representative is Mr. Nguyen Huu Tinh - Chairman of the Company.

The authorities determined that the enterprise had occupied an area of 4,960m2 of non-agricultural land in Minh Quan Industrial Park.

This behavior violates Point d, Clause 4 and Clause 6, Article 13 of Decree 123/2024/ND-CP of the Government on administrative sanctions in the land sector. Therefore, this unit was fined 140 million VND.

In addition to the fine of 140 million VND, the enterprise is required to complete procedures to be handed over land on site according to regulations for the entire area of violation.

At the same time, Asia High-Tech Equipment Company Limited must return the illegal profits gained from the violation of 12.7 million VND.

Au Lau Ward People's Committee requires businesses to strictly comply. In case the deadline is exceeded but not voluntarily implemented, the competent authority will apply enforcement measures and calculate the interest of late payment of 0.05% per day on the unpaid fine.
