World oil price today
World oil prices are recovering today after a slight decrease in the previous session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (October 7), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 0.06% and 0.03%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products reversed and increased sharply. At 12:04, WTI crude oil prices were at 62.22 USD/barrel, up 0.49 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.79%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 61.73 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 62.20 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 75.92 USD/barrel, up 0.47 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.72%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 75.45 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 65.74 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On October 8, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on October 2.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 6 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 44 VND/liter, diesel increased by 380 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 377 VND/liter and mazut increased by 161 VND/kg.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,800 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,600 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,650 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,650 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 550 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 540 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 450 VND/liter.
