This year, in addition to the Festival activities as every year, there is also the Ha Tien Tourism and Culinary Festival in 2025, aiming to promote and introduce images and information about the tourism potential to stimulate and develop trade and tourism in Kien Giang, attracting visitors to visit and learn about the culture and "history of the beautiful land of Ha Tien.

On February 22, 2024, the Prime Minister approved the Urban Development Program of the City and Border Gate Economic Zone of Ha Tien, Kien Giang Province until 2040, which is a concrete demonstration of the efforts and aspirations of the Party Committee, Army and people of Ha Tien in preserving, building and developing the homeland.
Chairman of Ha Tien City People's Committee Mai Quoc Thang said that the approved urban development program is the basis for implementation in the management of sectors, fields and investment for development in Ha Tien. During and after organizing and arranging local governments at both levels, the approval and implementation of this program is really necessary, contributing to the connection with regions in the region to promote and advertise investment, trade and tourism. Ha Tien strives to achieve the visionary goal of 2040, building Ha Tien into an economic, commercial, cultural tourism - heritage center of the Mekong Delta.
