On August 28, Tay Ninh province organized the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference. Attending the Conference were former Politburo Member, former President Truong Tan Sang; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau; former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, business associations and domestic and foreign investment corporations.

Speaking at the Conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet said that after the merger, the province is facing a great opportunity when it has a wider development space and many additional advantages between the two regions.
In the first 6 months of the year, Tay Ninh's economic growth rate reached 10.12%. The economic scale in 2025 ranked 9th out of 34 provinces and cities. The province is also in the Top 3 localities with outstanding reform results in 20 years of assessing provincial competitiveness and Top 10 localities attracting large enterprises. Total FDI capital attracted to Tay Ninh to date reached more than 26 billion USD, ranking 7th out of 34 provinces and cities.
However, according to the Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, these results are only the foundation. In the new development space, the province needs to continue to make efforts, especially in administrative reform and accompanying businesses.

Tay Ninh will review and cut unnecessary procedures, shorten the time to process dossiers, and save costs for businesses. Bottlenecks, shortcomings and obstacles in investment, production, and business will be proactively removed, towards building a transparent and stable investment environment.
Along with administrative reform, the province identifies transportation and energy infrastructure as important levers to expand development space.
Accordingly, Tay Ninh will mobilize resources to invest in infrastructure, in which transportation is oriented to develop in a convenient and smooth direction, strengthening connectivity with Ho Chi Minh City, southern provinces and Cambodia.
When connectivity routes are improved, the province expects advantages in industry, logistics, border gate economy and border trade to have more conditions to be promoted. The provincial plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 is also adjusted in the direction of multi-center, multi-polar, forming new economic corridors and driving axes.

In the investment attraction orientation, Tay Ninh prioritizes high-tech industry, green industry, logistics, high-tech agriculture, deep processing, modern urban - service, high-quality tourism, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
The province also sets higher requirements for new investment capital flows. Investors are expected not only to bring capital but also to bring advanced technology, modern management capacity and create deeper links with domestic enterprises.

At the conference, many projects and works were started, investment certificates were awarded and cooperation agreements were signed in the fields of transportation, industry, manufacturing, clean energy, waste treatment, environment, clean water, education and health. Many projects were assessed to initially use advanced technology, high technology, and are expected to create more production capacity, jobs and added value for the locality.
Tay Ninh identifies training and attracting human resources, especially high-quality human resources, as one of the three breakthroughs. Along with that, the province promotes science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, taking people as the center and subject of the development process.
With this approach, Tay Ninh expects administrative and infrastructure reforms to become two pillars, thereby transforming the post-merger advantages into competitiveness and new growth drivers.
