On November 4, according to the reporter's investigation, Nhat An Phu Joint Stock Auction Company - Lao Cai 1 Branch has just announced the organization of an auction of mineral exploitation rights for a sand mine for common construction materials on Chan stream, in Ban Bo village, Duong Quy commune (old Tham Duong commune), Lao Cai province.
The mine area has an area of 0.94ha and about 0.21ha of the auxiliary area, auctioned according to Decision 1364/QD-UBND dated April 29, 2025 of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.
Organizations and individuals participating in the auction must register for mineral exploitation and fully meet financial capacity requirements, of which the minimum financial capacity is VND 7.219 billion, the deposit is VND 217.286 million; the application fee is VND 100,000; the starting price is 5% and the step price is 0.25%.
The application documents include legal documents, commitment to perform obligations, documents proving capacity and documents according to regulations.
The time for selling and receiving documents is from November 3 to November 18, 2025; on-site viewing of the mine from November 11 to 13, 2025; deposit payment is from November 28 to December 2, 2025.
The auction will be held at 8:30 a.m. on December 4, 2025 at the hall of the headquarters of block 8, Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai province, in the form of direct voting and the method of bidding up until the highest bidder is determined.
