    Vinh Phuc - On May 24, information from the Market Management Department, the unit has just discovered a large quantity of frozen food of unknown origin in Tho Tang.

    Specifically, on May 23, Market Management Team No. 5 presided over and coordinated with Market Management Team No. 2 to conduct an inspection of Vu Van Binh Business Household (address in Tho Tang Town, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province).

    Through on-site inspection, it was discovered that the facility was trading 408.2 kg of food of unknown origin, without invoices and documents proving its origin, and not ensuring food safety and hygiene of goods.

    The violating shipment includes: frozen eggs of 500g/pack, 26 packs; Frozen chicken eggs are 1kg/pack, 9 packs; Frozen chicken thighs, 1,050 pieces, weighing 105 kg (7 barrels of 15kg/barrel); Original frozen chicken type 1.5kg/head, number of 30 chickens (3 boxes of 15.4kg/barrel); Frozen chicken feet with 5,440 pieces, weighing 170 kg (17 barrels of 10kg/barrel); Frozen pearl seeds of 1kg/pack, 65 packs (65kg).

    Previously, on May 20, Market Management Team No. 2 coordinated with the Economic Police Department (Vinh Phuc Provincial Police) to consecutively discover 2 business establishments in Tho Tang town with signs of trading in smuggled and counterfeit goods.

    At Nguyen Dang Hai business household, the authorities seized more than 12,000 imported imported instant food products, including instant sausages, instant chicken nay, instant chicken wings, instant chicken thighs with original labels in foreign languages, but without Vietnamese sub-labels and legal invoices and documents.

    At Mr. Phung Van Dang's facility, the authorities discovered more than 26,000 products with signs of counterfeiting trademarks and infringing on intellectual property rights, including dishwashing water, shampoo, toothpaste, detergent, etc.

    In addition, at the scene, the authorities also discovered that this facility was equipped with many machines suspected of being used to produce counterfeit goods.

    Currently, all of the above 3 violations have been temporarily detained by the authorities to complete the handling documents according to regulations.

    Tho Tang is considered the long-standing wholesale capital of Vinh Phuc. There are about 2,000 individual business households here, more than 250 medium and small enterprises and cooperatives operating with a variety of production and business types.

    Recently, the authorities have discovered and handled many cases of counterfeit and counterfeit goods at cheap prices in this town.
