In early April, the Vietnam Road Administration publicly announced information on the revenue and flow of BOT projects in February as follows:
Total number of projects: 52 projects.
The total revenue in February of BOT projects was over VND978 billion, with a total flow of VND17,603,751.
Accumulated to February 2025 as follows: total revenue of more than VND 2,289 billion, total traffic of 39,783,296 trips.
Of the 52 projects just announced, the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway project has the highest revenue. Of which, in January 2025, this BOT project collected more than 337 billion VND, in February it was more than 76 billion VND. In the first 2 months of the year, this expressway BOT project collected more than 413 billion VND.

The Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway is 105km long, starting at the intersection with Ring Road 3 (1km from Thanh Tri Bridge to the North of Ninh) in Thach Ban Ward (Long Bien District, Hanoi); ending at Dinh Vu Port (Hai An District, Hai Phong City); with a total investment of VND 45,487 billion invested by Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation.
The project was started in 2008, the investor has cleared 1,430 hectares of land, including 115 hectares of residential land, the rest is agricultural land related to 47,000 households; built 39 resettlement areas for 2,600 households.
This is the first expressway in the country to have 6 lanes, 2 emergency lanes, with many modern new technological equipment. The route has 39 intersections: overpasses or underpasses, 106 culverts and 164km of service roads on both sides to connect local residential roads. 9 large bridges across the river with a total length of 4.5km, including Lach Tray bridge, 1.2km long, Thai Binh bridge, 822m long, Thanh An bridge, 963m long. The expressway passes through 4 residential areas with a soundproofing system to reduce noise.
