NAPAS cooperates with Mastercard and Payoo to launch incentives of more than 14 billion VND at 5,500 points of sale, stimulate year-end shopping and promote cashless payment habits.

In harmony with the vibrant shopping atmosphere at the end of the year and the sharp increase in consumer demand during the holiday season, Vietnam National Payment Joint Stock Company (NAPAS) cooperated with Mastercard and the Payoo payment platform to implement the "Touching with One Hand - deal with Enthusiasm" program at more than 5,500 points of sale with a budget of more than 14 billion VND, contributing to spreading the habit of cashless payments and promoting the trend of contactless payments in the community.

According to the State Bank's report, in the first 9 months of 2025, non-cash payment activities (TTKDTM) maintained strong growth momentum. Compared to the same period in 2024, the total number of transactions increased by 43.3% in quantity and 24.2% in value.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Hung - Deputy General Director of NAPAS shared: "In order to meet the increasing demand for electronic payments of the people, as a national retail payment infrastructure provider, NAPAS has coordinated and deployed modern and convenient domestic card products to bring a "touch" payment experience to customers in a simple and easy way".

In particular, NAPAS also regularly brings attractive incentives to cardholders through cooperation programs with members and partners. With the "Touching hands-on - Deal is passionate" campaign, NAPAS expects to continue creating payment "touchpoints" across the country, contributing to promoting cashless payments and building a sustainable digital economy.

Mr. Sharad Jain - National Director of Mastercard in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia said: "Through the "Touch-Hand - Deal Enthusiasm" campaign, Mastercard and its partners hope to bring safe, seamless payment experiences and many incentives, bringing practical value to both cardholders and points of sale during the peak shopping season. This partnership demonstrates Mastercard's commitment to building a digital economy for everyone, everywhere."

Representative of the owner of the Payoo payment platform, Mr. Ngo Trung Linh - General Director of VietUnion added: "Every year, the scale of cooperation between NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo is constantly expanding, helping promotional programs reach more and more consumers nationwide. As an operator, Payoo focuses on building a unified connection infrastructure between banks, card organizations and payment acceptance networks, so that all cooperation ideas are flexibly and effectively implemented and bring real value to the market".

This is the third consecutive year that NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo have jointly launched a national incentive program aimed at stimulating shopping and promoting the growth of contactless payment transactions.

At the same time, this year NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo continue to focus on the journey "Touching, Sharing, Giving Hope" - a social security program aimed at caring for and protecting the health of Vietnamese women. The program aims to provide free cancer screening opportunities for 2,010 women in difficult circumstances, from many localities struggling to make a living in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Attractive promotional programs for the year-end shopping season are currently being implemented for NAPAS and Mastercard cardholders when paying by contactless card at thousands of points of sale in many fields from November 2025 to the end of the first quarter of 2026.
