According to the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board, the unit is being assigned to invite experienced and capable domestic and foreign investors to study the implementation of the Investment Project for the construction and business of infrastructure of the Northeast Industrial Park of the Airport, Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province.
This is one of the projects on the list of priority industrial parks to attract investment in 2025 of Quang Ninh province.
The goal of the Northeast Airport Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Project is to provide land fund, site, and technical infrastructure to attract secondary investors to build industries that use high technology, logistics services to support logistics, airport support services, etc.; to form an industrial park associated with modern domestic and regional airports.
The project implementation location is in Dai Xuyen commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province.
The project's planned land area is 347.79ha, of which the land for investment in the construction of industrial parks is 343.27ha.
The investment period is from 2025. The total cost of project implementation is determined by the investor according to current legal regulations.
In 2025, Quang Ninh identified the area of industrial parks and economic zones (KKT) as one of the driving forces and support to achieve the province's economic growth target of 14%.
In particular, Quang Ninh province strives to develop 2 - 4 new industrial parks in the province, namely: Dong Trieu Industrial Park (178.31ha), Industrial Park North of Van Don Airport (including Northeast Industrial Park, 347.79ha wide and Industrial Park Northwest of Van Don Airport, 103ha wide), Hai Ha Industrial Park (phase 2) and expand Dong Mai Industrial Park.
According to the planning of Quang Ninh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the industrial park north of Van Don Airport and Dong Trieu Industrial Park are expected to create new resources and space, creating momentum for socio-economic development in the new period of Quang Ninh province in general and neighboring areas in particular.
According to the Quang Ninh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 80/QD-TTg dated February 11, 2023, the development plan for the Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Quang Ninh province for the period 2021-2030 includes 5 Economic Zones and 23 Industrial Parks.
