Within the framework of the "Vietnamese Business Support" program, three training sessions took place from April 10 - December 12, attracting nearly 50 businesses, business households and cooperatives of Ha Tinh province to participate directly in Hanoi.
Removing operational "bottlenecks" through practical training
Ha Tinh province owns hundreds of OCOP products, agricultural products, regional specialties to medicinal herbs and handicrafts. However, the challenge is not in products, but in the ability to bring products to consumers in the digital environment.
Mr. Le Trung Phuoc, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh province, said "The locality has many small businesses and cooperatives. Most of them have only accessed e-commerce at a basic level, while operating skills such as content building, booth management or sales tool exploitation are not fully equipped, making business scale expansion still limited.
Business households and businesses in Ha Tinh province also admit a similar reality. "We have few opportunities to access e-commerce, so we don't know how to put a product on the exchange and also don't understand how to build an image to attract consumers," Ms. Le Hoai Thu, representative of Anh Thu ram cake production facility, shared.
On this basis, the Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated with Shopee and partners to develop a training program that is suitable and closely follows the needs of the locality. In which, the Department plays the role of identifying needs and selecting SME groups, cooperatives, and business households to participate, while the platform and partners are responsible for building content and directly implementing training.
Notably, the representatives participating this time were directly selected by the Department based on development potential and immediate application capabilities after training. Department leaders also accompanied throughout the program, directly exchanging with platform representatives about each specific activity.

Accordingly, the program is designed "tailor-made", closely following local characteristics. Teams from Shopee and partners directly guide each step: from establishing booths, optimizing image, to operating and exploiting sales tools - removing the "bottleneck" that local sellers are facing.
Representatives practice leading livestreams on Shopee, using support tools of the platform. This "hand-holding" approach helps participants quickly grasp knowledge and improve application capabilities after training.

Positive initial results
Assessing the program, Mr. Le Trung Phuoc said: "The noteworthy point is the very proactive and dedicated support from Shopee and training partners. Not only imparting knowledge, the teaching staff also directly guides and answers according to each specific case, helping businesses understand and implement immediately after the course.
Previously, I did not really pay attention to the image and content of products when selling on the floor. After participating in the training program, I have better understood the role of these factors in attracting users and building booths. Currently, I am starting to adjust my approach and hope to improve business efficiency in the near future," Ms. Hang, a business household selling agricultural products, shared.
Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade said it will continue to promote bringing OCOP products and regional specialties to e-commerce platforms. At the same time, models such as linked marketing will also be implemented.
