More schools training in Information Technology announce enrollment plans for 2026

Dong Nai University of Technology has just announced the enrollment information for the 2026 Regular University system (expected) as follows:

Enrollment method (exam, admission or combination of exam and admission):

- Method 1: Direct admission registered according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Method 2: Consider the results of the Competency Assessment exam at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City;

- Method 3: Considering high school graduation exam scores;

- Method 4: Consider high school academic results (gradebook).

Regarding enrollment quotas, the school plans to enroll 80 quotas for the Mechanical Engineering Technology major; 125 quotas for the Information Technology major; 30 quotas for the Software Engineering major; 30 quotas for the Artificial Intelligence major; 100 quotas for the Multimedia Communications major; 120 quotas for the Graphic Design major...

The school sets out the following additional conditions in admission consideration:

In case there are many candidates with the same admission score at the bottom of the list, the following auxiliary criteria are used:

- Considering candidates with higher aspiration orders (1);

- Considering candidates with common subject results (in the admission subject combination) with scores from high to low until sufficient enrollment number (2);

- In case there are many candidates with the same admission score at the end of the list after considering secondary conditions (1) and (2), then consider selecting candidates according to the results of the English subject (in the admission subject combination or the results of the 12th grade English subject if the admission subject combination does not include English, the results of exemption from the English subject, preservation of the English subject exam score) from high to low until the sufficient number of admissions (3);

- Conservation of admission results: Implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

About bonus points:

- Bonus points for first, second, third, and consolation prizes in the city/province-level excellent student selection exam during their studies at the high school level, only bonus points are added for the highest achievement prize, the maximum bonus point for each candidate is 3 points on a 30-point scale;

- Bonus points for candidates with international foreign language certificates IELTS and English certificates TOEIC, TOEFL, VSTEP, ... according to the provisions of Circular 24/2024/TT-BGDĐT are converted to the IELTS score scale. In case candidates have other foreign language certificates (Chinese, Korean, Japanese,...): Use the Reference Table for conversion of diplomas and foreign language certificates equivalent to level 3, level 4 according to the 06-level foreign language proficiency framework used for Vietnam according to Circular No. 23/2021/TT-BGDĐT.
