This suspension of operations will take place from May 23 to June 15, 2025, to ensure data security, improve operational efficiency and maintain continuity of the information technology infrastructure of the entire industry.

During the transition period, some key applications will be temporarily suspended or activated to serve the relocation, reset and testing of the system at the new center.
The conversion roadmap is divided into three stages. The first phase is the time to suspend the operation of the systems to carry out the conversion between the main and the Backup Center.
Application of electronic invoices will suspend twice, from 0:00 to 4:00 am on 24.5 and from 0:00 to 4:00 am on June 14, 2025. The next phase is the time the system is running at the Reserve Data Center (DRC), with performance reaching about 70% compared to the main system. The Electronic Invoice App will run on DRC from 4:00 a.m. on May 24 to 0:00 a.m. on June 14. Similarly, the Electronic Tax Service and News Axis application will be operated at DRC from 16:00 on May 25 to 18:00 on June 13, 2025.
In the final stage, the entire system will be put back into operation on the main Data Center after the conversion work is completed. Specifically, the Electronic Invoice application will resume operation from 4:00 a.m. on June 14, while the Electronic Tax Service and News Agency application will resume operation from 4:00 p.m. on June 15, 2025.
The suspension of the system temporarily prevents taxpayers from using applications in the Electronic Tax Service system, including: eTax for businesses, iCanhan for individuals, eTax Mobile on mobile devices, e-commerce Portal, Portal for foreign suppliers, electronic Tax services on the National Public Service Portal, Ministry of Finance Public Service Portal and provincial-level public service portals.
