Mr. Dao Nghia Dong - Deputy Head of Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs Team - shared that although the number of vehicles entering and leaving the country, the number of declarations opened, and import and export turnover increased compared to 2024. However, in general, operations at Cau Treo International Border Gate still face many difficulties, and budget revenue in 2025 will still be low compared to the assigned target.
The difficulty of Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs, according to Mr. Dao Nghia Dong, is that the parking lot at the border gate is small and narrow. The road from Laos to Cau Treo International Border Gate was previously regulated by Laos as a National Highway, but recently it has deteriorated, so it is regulated as a provincial road.
Since the regulation is a provincial road, cargo vehicles must reduce their load capacity. Therefore, many businesses have shifted direction to Cha Lo Border Gate (Quang Tri province), so they reduce cargo to Cau Treo International Border Gate.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
