Increasing owned airlines in the context of a world lacking aircraft
After a short time, T&T Group became a strategic shareholder of Vietravel Airlines, on June 28, this airline welcomed the first Airbus A321 aircraft under its ownership.
With a capacity of 228 seats, the A321 of the narrow-body aircraft line is popular globally with high performance, fuel economy will increase the initiative of the airline when the aircraft is suitable for both domestic and domestic routes as well as international routes with short and medium distances.

The event of welcoming the first A321 aircraft owned by the airline is also important in Vietravel Airlines' restructuring and expansion plan since T&T Group became a strategic shareholder of the airline.
It is expected that in July 2025, Vietravel Airlines will continue to own 2 more Airbus A320 aircraft. With the addition of owned aircraft, Vietravel Airlines will increase the frequency of domestic and international flights, serving both tourism and commercial needs that are recovering strongly.
According to the plan, from now until 2030, Vietravel Airlines will also invest resources to increase the fleet with modern, flexible and efficient aircraft.

Vietravel Airlines' efforts to put 3 owned aircraft into operation within 2 months are very commendable, in the context of a world shortage of aircraft that has lasted from 2024 to present.
Pratt & Whitney engine manufacturers have recalled PW100 engines for in-depth inspection and repair to fix manufacturing errors, causing many aircraft to be " lying on the ground" for a long time.
Meanwhile, the supply chain that was broken during the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet recovered, causing the speed of new aircraft production to slow down. These two reasons not only cause a shortage of new aircraft but also make the market for leasing aircraft that are still in operation scarce, high prices are currently causing headaches for many airlines.
In the above context, Mr. Ho Minh Tan - Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam - assessed that the event of Vietravel Airlines welcoming the first Airbus A321 aircraft owned by the airline is an effort to realize T&T Group's commitment to the growth of Vietravel Airlines.
The addition of owned aircraft to its fleet and synchronization with other aircraft in operation will help the airline be more proactive in its operations, while also giving the airline great motivation in its development strategy for the next stages.
Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway proves the pioneering role of the private economy
On June 29, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Joint Venture of Investors of T&T Transport Infrastructure Investment and Development Company Limited, Phuong Trang Group Investment Joint Stock Company and Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company to start the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway construction investment project (phase 1) under the public-private partnership (PPP) method with a total investment of VND 17,718 billion.

According to the investor's commitment, it is expected that in 30 months, the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway will be completed with a length of 73.62 km, contributing to the completion of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong expressway, more than 200 km long. This is a strategic artery route, contributing to connecting Ho Chi Minh City through Dong Nai to Da Lat with a time of only 3 hours instead of 6 hours as at present.
The route also opens up new development space for localities along the route such as Dong Nai, Bao Loc, Di Linh, Duc Trong... contributing to the formation of a satellite urban chain, industrial parks, logistics centers and logistics services. This expressway also facilitates the development of inter-regional tourism, as well as promotes the movement of goods between the Central Highlands and the key economic region in the South through connecting to seaports, Long Thanh airport...
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, Lam Dong provincial leaders affirmed that the groundbreaking of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway construction is the fulfilment of the dream, expectations and concerns of many generations of leaders, authorities at all levels and people in the province.

Speaking to start the project, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh affirmed that the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway will be a strong lever, creating new momentum for the spearhead economic sectors of Lam Dong and neighboring provinces. The value of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway is not only located at nearly 74 km, but also unleashes potential for the entire strategic economic corridor of hundreds of kilometers, creating new growth momentum for the whole region.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also acknowledged and highly appreciated the capacity and experience of the Joint Venture of Investors (including T&T Group, Phuong Trang Group and Phuong Thanh Company) which have been selected to implement the key project of Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway.
