Previously, as planned, from April 28, Vietnam Airlines will transfer all domestic flights to Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3.
However, a representative of Vietnam Airlines said that on April 28, the unit had not yet transferred all domestic flights to Terminal T3 as planned.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines is operating flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and Van Don at Terminal T3. Other domestic routes of Vietnam Airlines, along with flights of Pacific Airlines and VASCO, will continue to operate at Terminal T1 until further notice.
Vietnam Airlines added that since starting to transfer some flights to Terminal T3, its operations here have received close and effective coordination from Vietnam Airports Corporation and related units, contributing to bringing a smooth journey and a synchronous service experience to passengers.
As of April 26, Vietnam Airlines has safely operated more than 390 flights and served more than 100,000 passengers at Terminal T3, affirming its synchronous and professional operational capacity from the first days of operation.
The exploitation plans at Terminal T3 have been proactively developed and carefully prepared by Vietnam Airlines and related units early, with many flexible scenarios to adapt to the actual situation in the early stages of operation.
The adjustment of the conversion time of all domestic flights shows the proactiveness of operation, in order to ensure the optimization of passenger experience and synchronization of efficiency between operating units at terminal T3.
Previously, on April 19, Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat Airport was officially opened and put into operation, becoming a large, modern passenger terminal, with a total designed capacity of 20 million domestic passengers per year.
The station is invested with a synchronous infrastructure system, advanced technology and a spacious, airy space, to bring a convenient, fast and comfortable experience to passengers.
The operation of Terminal T3 has contributed to improving service capacity and service quality at Tan Son Nhat airport.
