Kon Tum - The 220kV Bo Y cutting station was seriously eroded, threatening the national transmission system.

On April 28, the People's Committee of Kon Tum province announced a natural disaster emergency to overcome the current situation of landslides on the negative slope at the Bo Y 220kV Cutting Station project, Ngoc Hoi district.

Previously, the Power Project Management Board 2 reported to the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to declare an emergency situation at the Bo Y 220kV Cutting Station.

Due to the impact of prolonged rain, the ground in the construction area was damaged, 40 meters of reinforced concrete retaining walls fell, leading to a landslide on the slope of the station.

This landslide seriously threatens the safety of the national power transmission system, and directly affects the infrastructure and equipment at the Bo Y 220kV Cutting Station as well as connecting lines.

The People's Committee of Kon Tum province requested the Power Project Management Board 2 to report to Vietnam Electricity Group, promptly organize the project, mobilize resources, funding and other necessary conditions to promptly overcome the landslide at the project.

The Power Project Management Board 2 is responsible for complying with legal regulations on investment, construction and natural disaster prevention.

The Board is responsible before the law for the accuracy of information and proposed data related to the emergency situation at the Bo Y 220kV Cutting Station.
