A citizen sent a question to the Ministry of Public Security: What components does the database on road traffic order and safety include and how is it connected and shared?
Responding to this issue on the Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of Public Security said that Article 7 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and the Database on Road Traffic Order and Safety is stipulated as follows:
Database on road traffic order and safety includes:
Database on registration and management of motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes.
Database on vehicle registration and specialized motorbikes.
Database on training, testing, granting of driving licenses, and certificates of training in road traffic law knowledge.
Database of motor vehicle and specialized motorcycle drivers.
Database of insurance for motor vehicle and specialized motorbike owners.
Database on handling administrative violations of road traffic order and safety.
Road traffic accident database.
Database of road vehicle journeys and driver images as prescribed by this Law.
Database on management of vehicle driving time of drivers according to the provisions of this Law.
Other databases related to ensuring order and safety of road traffic.
The database on road traffic order and safety is a shared database; connected and shared with the National Population Database, Road Database and other relevant databases.
The Government shall detail this Article; regulate the collection, management and exploitation of information in the Database on road traffic order and safety.
