Many items for Tet
Candy, dried foods and clothes are no longer the most sought-after items by union members and workers at the "Union Tet Markets". Because besides the popular items needed for Tet, the Union Tet Markets also have many diverse products serving daily life such as electrical appliances, cooking utensils...
Therefore, many union members and workers take advantage of the shopping opportunity because, according to them, the goods at the "Union Tet Market" are always guaranteed in quality, and the prices are discounted. In particular, they also have shopping vouchers issued by the Union. The group of female workers of SEI Electronics Co., Ltd. said that after buying basic items such as vermicelli and dried bamboo shoots, each of them is calculating the remaining amount from the shopping vouchers issued by the Union to buy what is still lacking.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bang confided: "I bought all 300,000 VND of the 500,000 VND voucher given by the Union, now I think about what else is needed and buy it. The "Union Tet Market" organized by the Hanoi City Labor Federation has a scale of 120 booths with the participation of more than 80 businesses, serving a variety of products at preferential prices, ensuring origin and quality."
The City Labor Federation presented 5,800 vouchers, each worth VND500,000, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances who came to buy goods at the "Union Tet Market" booths; arranged "0 VND" booths at the "Union Tet Market" with 5,000 gifts to give to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; distributed 6,200 vouchers, each worth VND500,000, to workers who bought directly at the points of sale.
Leaving the "Union Tet Market" organized by the Hanoi City Labor Federation, female workers from the Soc Son Urban Environment Joint Stock Company could not hide their joy because they had successfully gone to the market. Like Dang Thi Thuy Linh, a worker at Phu Nghia Industrial Park, those who beautify the streets of Soc Son district said they could bring Tet home after going to the "Union Tet Market".
According to the women, due to the nature of their work, the days before Tet are the busiest days for them because at this time the amount of household waste that needs to be processed increases many times. Therefore, they want to take advantage of one trip to the market to buy enough, only buying fresh food close to the day.
Choose the products you need at the 0 VND booth
At the "Union Tet Market" of localities and industries, there are zero-dong booths to give gifts to union members, workers in difficult circumstances, low income, with outstanding achievements in production, business and participation in union activities. In many places, unions are very creative in organizing zero-dong booths.

Union members and workers were allowed to choose gifts according to their needs. Among the gifts, a frying pan with a bottle of cooking oil; a cooking pot with fish sauce; a kettle with 2kg of yellow sticky rice. Union members and workers brought the coupons to the booth, clearly stated their choice, and then presented the coupons to receive the products.
