Digital transformation is not the task of anyone alone
Recently, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union organized an intensive training course "AI Application - Enhancing Work Efficiency" for union officials from grassroots unions throughout the system. This is not just a regular training course, but a strategic step for the VGCL, demonstrating a pioneering vision in the context of the widespread digital revolution.
This activity aims to realize the spirit of the "Digital education environment" program launched by the State Bank of Vietnam, with the goal of bringing artificial intelligence closer, becoming an effective tool for all activities, from management, operation to communication.
The core goal of the training course is "Learning to do - Application in practice" which has given union officials the most practical knowledge and skills. Thereby, union officials clearly understand the way AI operates and apply it to union activities, especially in communication work.
During the course, union officials were allowed to practice creating documents, images, and videos in the right direction, saving time. In particular, the course has equipped the necessary knowledge to use AI ethically and safely; built an effective working process, which can be applied immediately to real work at their unit.
According to Mr. Tran Hong Tuan - Vice Chairman of the VBSP Trade Union, digital transformation is not the task of anyone alone, but the responsibility of the entire system. In that context, AI is increasingly affirming its important role and ability to create higher labor productivity and work efficiency. This is the time to grasp, learn and apply AI so as not to fall behind.
Participating in emulation to adapt
The "Digital education program" launched by the State Bank of Vietnam does not only encourage organizations and businesses to apply AI, but also aims to equip employees with the necessary skills to master this technology.
Therefore, the implementation of the movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "digital education" in all levels of the Trade Union under the Vietnam Bank Trade Union system is being launched among union members, workers, civil servants, and trade union organizations in the whole industry.
From the reality at the unit, Mr. Dinh Duc Long - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Trade Union - Secretary of the VPBank Youth Union - said that the "Digital Education Group" movement has great significance for VPBank Bank Trade Union members, especially in the context of strong digital transformation in the banking industry in particular and the whole society in general.
One of them is essential digital skills training to help union members and employees of VPBank, from those who are proficient to those with limited technology, be equipped with and consolidate basic and advanced digital skills. This includes the use of office applications, online communication tools, information security, and specialized digital platforms of the bank.
Mr. Long analyzed: In the context of rapidly changing technology, "Digital learning environment" creates conditions for union members to access and update new technology trends, especially in the banking and finance sector such as Fintech, AI, Big Data, Blockchain. This helps them not to be outdated and be ready to adapt to changes in their work, improving work efficiency and labor productivity.
Especially the optimization of the working process. When union members and employees are fully equipped with digital skills, they
can use tools and software more effectively, thereby optimizing work processes, reducing manual operations, saving time and improving productivity.
In the emulation movement launched by the Vietnam Bank Trade Union, there is an emphasis on cadres, union members, and workers competing to self-study, self-training, updating, and improving knowledge and skills in digital transformation; competing in the application and exploitation of digital platforms, digital technology, and artificial intelligence in work, contributing to improving labor productivity and work efficiency.
Compete to promote digital transformation, application of science, technology, and innovation in union activities. The heads of trade unions at all levels have innovated their thinking, leadership methods, management and operating models from "traditional" to digital space based on digital data. Invest in developing infrastructure for science, technology, innovation, digital transformation in trade unions at all levels, especially digital infrastructure, digital technology on the principle of "ational, synchronous, secure, safe, effective, avoiding waste".
Another notable content is "The whole country competes for innovation and digital transformation" and "digital learning environment", units will compete to build Collective Labor Agreements with the agreement of business owners on popularizing and training digital skills for union members and employees.
Speaking at the launching conference of the movement "The whole country competes for innovation and digital transformation" and " digitization of the banking industry" in conjunction with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo at the end of May, Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union Dao Minh Tu emphasized the emulation movement to promote the tradition of patriotism, enhance the comprehensive leadership of the Party, the combined strength of the entire industry, the active participation of cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees in the banking industry in developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, contributing to the country's strong development in the new era - the era of strong and strong; at the same time, strongly changing the awareness and function of each cadre, civil servant, public employee, and employees in the process of digital transformation, and training in the digital transformation process.
