Each individual is aware that they are an important link
I had a conversation with Mr. Nguyen Anh Ngoc - Chairman of the Trade Union of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. (under the Trade Union of Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones) held at the K9 Relic Site, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday. Mr. Ngoc is one of 28 typical individuals who have advanced in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style (2016 - 2025) and were commended by the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. has over 20,600 officials and employees. An important strategy here is to propagate for each individual to be aware that he is an important link in the stability and development of businesses, families and society. The guideline of the Company's College is "Propagating and mobilizing union members, workers to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; thereby contributing to the implementation of grassroots democracy, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises" so that workers are growing in a better way, businesses develop more sustainably. Mr. Ngoc is one of the most important contributors to making that guideline.
Mr. Ngoc could not hide his emotions when talking about what he had studied and followed Uncle Ho for the past 10 years. Understanding the importance of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in building his personal personality, he not only strives for himself but also works with family members to promote his study and following his ideology and style in work and daily life.
During his work, Mr. Ngoc flexibly directed and connected the implementation of work to 3 Vice Chairmen and 199 union heads at 3 factories so that the work of the Union as well as the professional work of all union officials could achieve good results, above expectations. Mr. Ngoc builds timely reward regimes for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in union activities to lead members to become more connected and operate more effectively.
Every year, in addition to fixed activities, Mr. Ngoc coordinates to implement programs organized with the company to increase the welfare of union members and workers every year... Each job is thought about and done by Mr. Ngoc with the responsibility of a Trade Union Chairman and as a member - a link - in the company's collective.
When organizing and implementing these activities, I always think about what I have learned from Uncle Ho to always put the interests of workers and the collective first as well as try my best to do the best for the company - Mr. Ngoc shared.
In particular, Mr. Ngoc coordinated with the Company to organize propaganda and dissemination so that more and more people could understand and learn to follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality. According to Mr. Ngoc, Uncle Ho's moral example has paved the way for him to always be exemplary and make efforts.
Making studying and following Uncle Ho a self-awareness of the whole group
The fact that Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Chairman of the Company's College is Mr. Nguyen Anh Ngoc and the Hanoi Labor Federation is an advanced example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style (in the period of 2016 - 2025) which has been a testament to the view that each person is aware of being an important link in the collective.
From the efforts of each person like Mr. Ngoc, the Company's Trade Union creates changes, has a wide influence, strong and positive impact on the awareness, thoughts, feelings and actions of union members and workers.
The company's trade union understands that, "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is an important, regular and long-term task for high efficiency. Over the past 10 years, the Executive Board of the Trade Union has coordinated with the company, with representatives of each department to disseminate and implement extensively in many forms, through the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo by developing specific action programs, actively implementing emulation movements, campaigns, promoting production and business activities associated with implementing political tasks.
The Union and the Company coordinated to organize extensive propaganda sessions to workers in all shifts and teams. In addition, organize a slogan/painting contest to promote and hang in easy-to-see areas in the workshop so that workers can see it every day as a reminder, raising national pride in each person.
Trade union officials are also trained in more in-depth areas to understand and implement through daily activities as an example to spread Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the era of industrialization and modernization.
With the propaganda of the Union and the company, each worker has been aware of improving their skills. Each individual cultivates their own learning and improves their qualifications through training courses organized by the company every year.
The company opens about 44 soft skills training courses for many subjects such as training for management, engineering and administrative with 814 participants... taught by outside experts or by Vietnamese and Japanese engineers and experts.
