The first issue of Lao Dong Newspaper was printed in clay, on Dap Cau paper, one side assembled and one side smooth, size 22x30cm, in a small 10m2 room in Thong Phong alley, Hang Bot street (Hanoi). The newspaper's personnel was initially headed by Mr. Nguyen Duc Canh as Editor-in-Chief, with 2 journalists: Tran Hong Van (Tran Hoc Hai) and a female party member named Thu Van. In 1929, Lao Dong Newspaper published 4 issues.
