At Habok Company Limited, the Bac Giang City Labor Federation coordinated with the Organizing - Inspection Committee and the Propaganda - Women's Union of the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation to organize a training conference to foster trade union work, promote gender equality and prevent domestic violence for more than 200 union officials and workers.
At the conference, union officials and workers listened to Mr. Nguyen Hong Diep - Deputy Head of the Organization and Inspection Department of the Provincial Federation of Labor convey the contents, Resolution of the Trade Union Congress, methods of operation of enterprise grassroots trade unions; rights and responsibilities of grassroots trade union officials; methods of operation, conditions to ensure activities for grassroots trade union officials, rights and responsibilities of union members.
The delegates listened to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of the Provincial Federation of Labor, propagate gender equality and prevention of domestic violence, in order to gradually improve the knowledge, attitude and practical skills of workers on population, gender equality and reproductive health care, family planning, helping female workers know how to take care of themselves.
Workers are also equipped with knowledge of basic knowledge about the Law on Gender Equality; at the same time, they are exchanged some behavioral skills when conflicts arise between family members...
Through the conference, it helps union officials and workers in enterprises to perform well the functions and tasks of the union organization at the enterprise.
