This is the branch chosen by the Party Committee of Can Tho City Labor Federation to organize the Congress of affiliated branches.
During the 2022-2025 term, the Party Committee led the Propaganda - Women's Union; the City Civil Servants' Union and the Fund for Poor Workers to promptly advise the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation to issue programs and plans, and guide Trade Unions at all levels to organize extensive propaganda and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.
Political and ideological education work is well implemented, helping to maintain the ideological situation of party members, cadres, civil servants and public employees. Each party member in the Party cell promotes fighting spirit, pioneering and being exemplary in carrying out assigned political tasks.
Based on the annual topics on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", the Party cell has issued plans and assigned Party members to develop quarterly topics, linked to the implementation of the year's topics and the professional tasks of each unit.
The work of building the government and mass organizations has become routine, promoting collective strength in all activities of the Party cell. Every year, 100% of Party members of the Party cell are evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better.
The Congress elected a Party Cell consisting of 3 comrades, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hien - Chairwoman of Can Tho Civil Servants' Trade Union was re-elected as Secretary of Party Cell 3, term 2025 - 2027.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Party Secretary, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged the results that Party Cell 3 had strived to achieve in the previous term. Accordingly, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai suggested that in the coming time, Party Cell 3, term 2025 - 2027, should focus on education, management, and building a team of cadres and party members who have both good moral qualities and capacity and responsibility in performing professional tasks.
Regarding the content and leadership methods, Party Cell 3 needs to focus on major, important, and breakthrough issues and resolve difficulties and obstacles to effectively carry out political tasks, and spend reasonable time on building a strong Party and government.
