Determined to pass Group D, Da Nang Trade Union football team aims for quarter-final tickets

Da Nang - Da Nang Trade Union opened the final round of the 2025 CNVC Football Tournament with a draw, determined to reach the quarter-finals.

The final round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament will take place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The tournament brings together 16 teams to compete, competing in a 4-team format, playing a round-robin to select teams for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. Da Nang Trade Union is in Group D with the Vietnam Bank Trade Union, Hanoi Trade Union and An Giang Trade Union.

Representatives of Da Nang came to Ho Chi Minh City with a force of players who are union members and workers working at agencies and enterprises in the area. Before that, the team passed the qualifying round to qualify for the final round. In the opening match, Da Nang Trade Union drew 0-0 with Hanoi Trade Union, forcing the whole team to play more determinedly in the next matches to compete for a place to continue.

The tournament was organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Vietnam Football Federation and Tuoi Tre Newspaper, aiming to promote the sports training movement, improve the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants and laborers.
