In order to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances to return home to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025, the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation organized a program to give away 100 bus tickets with a total amount of VND 55,800,000 in cash and Tet gifts in kind.
Previously, the Provincial Federation of Labor allocated funds to support bus tickets to go home for Tet for 11 unions at the grassroots level. This activity aims to help union members who have been away from home for many years and have not had the opportunity to reunite with their families, to have the opportunity to have a warm and happy Tet with their families.
On the afternoon of January 24, leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation were also present at the Dien Bien Phu City bus station to hand out bus tickets and Tet gift bags including essential items to union members, workers and employees of the union.
Mr. Do Duc Viet - Dien Bien Agricultural and Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company said: "I am really touched and grateful for the attention and sharing of the Trade Union organization towards me and other union members".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa - Thanh Yen Secondary School also said: "I am very happy and pleased, thanks to this support, this year I can return home to reunite with my parents. I thank the Union very much".
Talking about this activity, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation said: "The program to support bus tickets to go home for Tet is an annual activity showing the care and sharing of the trade union organization. We also hope that this small gift will help union members and disadvantaged workers have a warm Tet, gathering with their families".
