On the afternoon of December 3, Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company successfully organized the 10th Grassroots Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
During the 2023 - 2025 term, the Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union closely coordinated with the Board of Directors to fully implement the regimes and policies for employees on salary, allowances, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and labor protection. The Trade Union proactively develops the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, organizes dialogues, reviews salary scales, labor regulations and negotiates Collective Labor Agreements with many provisions beneficial to employees, improves the quality of meals, holiday bonuses...
The Executive Committee also pays special attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers through welfare, rewards, support for female workers, development training, encouragement of initiatives, taking care of union members' children, Trade Union Shelters, Tet Sum Vay programs... with a total budget of about VND4.6 billion.
The grassroots trade union actively participates in social security activities with a total budget of about 30 billion VND, at the same time organizes labor conferences, supervises meal quality and participates in periodic dialogues, contributes to protecting workers' rights and promoting corporate culture.
The Congress also identified key goals for the 2025-2030 term, including developing union members to reach at least 98% of employees, achieving the Yearly Good grade or higher, 90% of employees being propagandized, learning about policies, laws and union resolutions, on average introducing at least one outstanding union member to the Party each year, conducting dialogue and collective bargaining with at least three provisions more favorable than the law, etc.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Pham Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation - acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements that the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union has achieved in the past term, especially the active role in protecting the rights of employees, organizing dialogues, supervising policies and regimes and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members.
Mr. Tuan hopes that the Executive Board of the Trade Union will continue to promote its representative role, closely coordinate with the Board of Directors in dialogue and collective bargaining, build a harmonious, creative and safe working environment; promote creativity, improve productivity, apply digital transformation, innovation and develop corporate culture, contributing to the company's sustainable development in the new period.
At the Congress, the delegates elected the Executive Committee of the 10th Trade Union consisting of 13 members, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly was elected as President of the Trade Union.
