More than 150,395 officers and soldiers with 5,465 vehicles of all types on duty for tropical depression are ready to perform rescue missions.

The Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee said the above information on the evening of December 3.

Regarding the natural disaster situation, the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee informed about the tropical depression news (weakened from storm No. 15). According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. on December 3, the center of the tropical depression was at about 12.90 degrees North latitude, 110.00 degrees East longitude, in the Dak Lak - Khanh Hoa sea. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6 (39-49km/h), gusting to level 8, moving in the West Southwest direction, speed 15-20 km/h.

Regarding the counting of ships, provinces and cities on the sea route from Quang Tri to Ho Chi Minh City coordinated to notify, count, and guide 48,411 vehicles/246,819 people who knew the developments and direction of the tropical depression to proactively move, avoid, and escape from the danger zone.

Of which, anchored at ports 44,247 ships/221,190 people; operating at sea: 4,164 ships/25,629 people.

Vehicles have received warning information and are moving around the bypass; no vehicles are in the dangerous area.

The tropical depression response force and vehicles have 150,395 officers and soldiers (CBCS) (including: Corps: 51,810, Militia: 98,585), 5,465 vehicles of all kinds on duty, ready for rescue missions.

Regarding the work of overcoming the consequences of floods in the Central provinces, on December 3, the Ministry of National Defense mobilized: 2,662 officers and soldiers (Body: 2,652, Militia and Self-Defense Forces: 10), 129 vehicles of all kinds (102 cars, 21 special vehicles, 4 boats-cars, 2 flycams).

The forces helped the people and disinfected 3,000 m2 in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa provinces to clean and repair 173 houses, 50 km of roads, transport 2,600 scarves, 36 tons of necessities, 765 gifts; examine and treat, provide medicine to 105 people; start construction of 33 houses (Dak Lak: 20, Gia Lai: 9, Khanh Hoa: 4).
