On October 26, the An Phu Ward Trade Union successfully held the 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress was attended by 100 official delegates, representing 2,224 union members from grassroots unions in An Phu ward and wards and communes: Hoi Phu, Dak Doa, Ia Bang, Kon Gang, Dak Somei, Kdang.
Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Luu Trung Nghia - Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the An Phu Ward People's Council; and representatives of the authorities of communes and wards.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Ha Duy Trung highly appreciated the preparation work, and agreed with the goals, targets and key tasks of the 2025 - 2030 term.
Ward trade unions need to continue to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions, perform well the function of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
In addition, the Trade Union needs to actively participate in building and perfecting legal policies related to workers; promote emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", respond to the movements "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "People learn from digital skills" in trade union activities.
At the Congress, delegates heard the announcement of the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and the positions of An Phu Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Chung Chinh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan held the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee.
The Congress also announced the list of official delegates attending the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
