On October 18, the Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union (Gia Lai Province) said that the unit is urgently preparing for the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030, scheduled to take place on October 23, 2025 at the Provincial Labor Culture House.
The 1st Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, marks an important change in the organizational model in the new period; promptly concretize the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws into the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress.
At the Congress, Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union will discuss and approve reports on the situation of workers, civil servants, laborers and grassroots trade union activities in Thong Nhat Ward and 6 neighboring communes (Bien Ho, Chu Pah, Ia Khuol, Ia Grai, Ia Hrung, Ia Krai).
The Congress will also propose directions for activities for the 2025-2030 term; give opinions on the draft documents of the Provincial Trade Union Congress; contribute opinions on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The Congress will announce the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term and key positions; at the same time, announce the list of delegates attending the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The 1st Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, is scheduled to take place on October 23, with 100 official delegates, representing 261 union members working at 41 grassroots trade unions and trade unions.
