Currently, the Pleiku City Labor Federation is directly managing 286 grassroots unions and grassroots unions with more than 12,850 union members.
In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the city have promoted their role as representatives, caregivers, and protectors of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, civil servants, and employees.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, more than 500 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were presented with gifts and support with a total value of more than 250 million VND through practical programs such as: "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", "Love trip", "Online Trade Union Tet Market"...
In addition, trade unions at all levels have mobilized union members and workers to donate nearly 70 million VND to support the "Spring Soldier" program; at the same time, mobilized 468 union members and workers to participate in voluntary blood donation.
In particular, during Workers' Month 2025, the City Labor Federation selected and proposed that the Provincial Labor Federation support hundreds of union members and workers with serious illnesses and those in difficult circumstances.
In the first 6 months of the year, the City Labor Federation admitted 628 new union members; established 8 grassroots unions and grassroots unions; received 3,217 union members transferred from industry unions.
In the coming time, the City Labor Federation will develop a project and plan to terminate operations for grassroots unions under administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of salaries from the State budget, and submit it to the Provincial Labor Federation for approval.
At the same time, the unit will transfer grassroots unions that are not subject to dissolution to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management according to the correct roadmap, ensuring that the rights and interests of union members and workers are not affected.
