Lung Hospital Trade Union gives 175 free meals to patients

Ha Tinh - The Lung Hospital Trade Union organized the distribution of 175 free meals, adding motivation to patients and their families during Workers' Month 2026.

On April 18, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that in response to Workers' Month 2026, the Lung Hospital Trade Union has coordinated with sponsors to organize a charity meal distribution program for patients and their families being treated at the hospital.

Accordingly, 175 meals were handed directly to patients and their families, each meal worth 40,000 VND, with a total budget of 7,000,000 VND. The activities were deployed thoughtfully and promptly, aiming at difficult circumstances.

These meals, although simple, contain sharing, contributing to spiritual encouragement and adding strength for patients to feel secure in treatment. This is also a practical source of encouragement for family members in the process of caring for their loved ones.

The program continues to spread the spirit of compassion and responsibility of trade union organizations and philanthropists towards the community, contributing to affirming the companion role of trade unions in caring for the lives of union members and workers.
