On October 25, the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had successfully and successfully organized the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending and directing the congress was Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Permanent Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation. Also attending were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of Phu Quy Special Zone.
The Congress took place in a solemn, democratic and exciting atmosphere. The delegates discussed and evaluated the results of the activities of the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union since its establishment.
Established and put into operation since July 2025, the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union has effectively implemented many activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.
The unit also actively coordinates with the local political system in serving the people and operating the government.
The unit has mobilized the admission of union members and established a new grassroots union. Currently, the entire Special Zone has 10 grassroots unions and grassroots unions with 381 union members.
The union also regularly connects and supports more than 500 freelance workers in the fields of construction, trade, services and tourism.
Many practical activities were organized, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate such as: "Union Meal" program, visiting union members, giving Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to union members' children, launching an environmental cleanup campaign, supporting the Cuban people and people affected by storm No. 10...
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress approved 6 annual targets, 4 target groups by the end of the term and identified 3 breakthroughs to build an increasingly strong trade union organization, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people to build Phu Quy Special Zone "Beautiful Year - Civilized - Friendly - meaningful".
At the congress, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Nguyen Thien Tam will continue to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union for this term.
In his speech, Mr. Ho Cong Duong requested cadres, union members and workers to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, courage and intelligence; make efforts for workers and the development of the Trade Union organization.
