On October 19, nearly 1,200 workers of Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited (Loc Son Industrial Park, Lam Dong province) enthusiastically participated in activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
Ms. Ka B Rem - a garment worker of the company - shared that the program has many meaningful and practical activities, attracting a large number of union members and workers to attend. According to her, workers are given periodic health check-ups and occupational diseases, especially female workers who are examined in depth for obstetrics and gynecology.
"The doctors and nurses examined and consulted very enthusiastically, helping us know how to prevent occupational diseases, while taking better care of our health and that of our family," said Ms. Ka B Rem.
Mr. K'Van - a worker of the company - happily said that in addition to being examined and consulted on health, all workers, both male and female, received gifts. We are very touched and happy to have a small gift to give to relatives on this year's Vietnamese Women's Day, he shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Trang - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited - said that this is the second health check-up in 2025. The union coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize an examination right at the company to create favorable conditions for union members and workers. The total cost for this health examination and consultation is 140 million VND.
On this occasion, the union also presented gifts to all union members and workers on Vietnamese Women's Day, each portion including shampoo and shower gel, worth 150,000 VND.
"We hope and always strive with the Board of Directors to take care of our health, improve our material and spiritual lives so that union members and employees can feel secure and excited to stay with the company for a long time," Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Trang affirmed.
