On the afternoon of December 17, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Ham Liem Commune Trade Union and Phan Thiet University Trade Union to organize a gift-giving ceremony to support union members and workers affected by the flood in early December.
At the program, 45 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, were given to workers and laborers working at grassroots trade unions under the Ham Liem Commune Trade Union.
Among these, many union members are working at enterprises in Phan Thiet Industrial Park.

According to the Ham Liem Commune Union, consecutive floods have caused many workers to fall into difficult circumstances. Many families have had their houses flooded, their property damaged, their daily activities interrupted and their work and income directly affected.
The timely support is to share some of the difficulties, helping workers soon stabilize their lives.

A representative of the Phan Thiet University Trade Union said that the gifts were taken from contributions and shares from union members and workers in the school.
Although the material value is not large, this is the sentiment, social responsibility and companionship of the trade union organization for workers and laborers suffering damage due to natural disasters.
At the gift-giving ceremony, many workers expressed their emotions when receiving attention from the trade union organization. For them, the support is not only material but also a source of spiritual encouragement during the period of great pressure after natural disasters.

Not only stopping at immediate support gifts, Ham Liem Commune Trade Union will continue to accompany, grasp the lives of union members, promptly propose appropriate support policies.
Thereby, contributing to ensuring social security, strengthening workers' trust in the trade union organization and creating a foundation for workers to feel secure in sticking with the enterprise for a long time.
