Vietnam General Confederation of Labor donates 500 million VND to support flood workers in Lam Dong

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has donated 500 million VND to support union members and workers in Lam Dong province - affected by storms and floods.

On November 5, a working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - and leaders of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation visited and encouraged union members and workers affected by storms and floods at Phu Long Garment Factory and Hai Trieu Company Limited.

At the program, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 500 million VND to support union members and workers in Lam Dong province who suffered losses due to storms and floods.

At Phu Long Garment Factory alone, the delegation directly presented 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to affected workers; at Phan Thiet Industrial Park, the delegation continued to present 20 gifts to union members and workers of Hai Trieu Company Limited.

The remaining gifts, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor is urgently gathering a list, distributing and handing over to the workers.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Phan Van Anh shared that these gifts show the sharing of cadres and union members across the country, contributing to helping workers stabilize their lives.

Representing the workers, Mr. Dao Xuan Truong - Trade Union of Hai Trieu Company Limited - emotionally said: "The gifts are not only material support but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers feel the care and companionship of the Vietnam Trade Union organization".
