On June 21, Mr. Tran Duc Hai - Director of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House informed that the table tennis tournament will be held on June 21 - 22, to celebrate the 24th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2025).
This event is also part of a series of activities towards the 10th anniversary of the founding of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House on July 27, 2015 - July 27, 2025, said Mr. Tran Duc Hai.
According to Mr. Hai, the "Family Table Tennis Tournament" is organized by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House in June every year. This tournament has had more than 100 athletes who are members of union members' families and workers.
In this year's tournament, athletes with high professional qualifications from Lam Dong province and the national level competed in a friendly competition.
Athletes will compete in the coordination events between members of each family, which are the contents of the couple competition, siblings, father and child, mother and child competition...
Through this event, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House hopes to discover and select potential athletes to train and compete in higher tournaments.
This is an opportunity to encourage generations in each family to actively practice sports together and improve their health. Thereby, multiplying the bond, love, and sharing between members to build a happy family, Mr. Hai affirmed.
Every day, athlete Do Le Van Chi participates in training at the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House Table Tennis Club.
