Mr. Bui Quoc Anh (from Ha Tinh) has been a worker at Loc Chau Green Joint Stock Company (Loc Chau Industrial Park, Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province) for many years.
Every month, he spends frugally, sending money back home with his wife to take care of his elderly parents and raise his two children. Due to economic conditions, he had planned to stay at the company during Tet, although he really wanted to reunite with his family.
Recently, the company's union approved him for a bus ticket to go home. Now, he and other workers have also been given round-trip bus tickets by the provincial Labor Federation.
Anh Quoc Anh emotionally expressed: “This is a great sharing and encouragement that helps me have the opportunity to reunite with my family during the traditional Tet holiday. We promise to return to work right after the holiday.”
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Mr. Hoang Lien - said that on the occasion of Lunar New Year this year, the unit supported round-trip bus tickets for 37 union members and workers in difficult circumstances to return home for Tet.
Mr. Lien emphasized that the trade unions at all levels in Lam Dong have carefully reviewed to propose support, prioritizing those who live far away, are in difficult circumstances, are living in corporate dormitories or renting rooms.
“Their legitimate wish is to return home to reunite with their families during Tet and commit to returning to work on time. This is practical support for them to have a meaningful Tet season,” Mr. Hoang Lien shared.
