On the afternoon of February 6th, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union organized the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program in 2026, combined with summarizing trade union activities in 2025 in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
At the program, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union reported on the results of activities in 2025 with many outstanding imprints, in which the focus is on caring for union members and workers, especially during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
From the support of the Central Government, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Federation and socialized sources, the Commune Trade Union has directed grassroots trade unions to coordinate with professional departments to effectively organize "Tet Sum vay" activities, visit and encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
In parallel, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union organizes delegations to the grassroots level to grasp the situation, propagate regimes and policies, survey union member development work and perform tasks authorized by the Provincial Labor Federation.
In 2025, the Commune Trade Union supported the construction and repair of 8 Trade Union Solidarity Houses, with a total budget of 375 million VND, contributing to stabilizing the lives of union members facing housing difficulties.
Specifically for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Commune Trade Union presented 165 gifts in the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program; 193 Tet market money gifts with a total value of 193 million VND; 8 gifts for orphans; 70 Tet gifts from the Provincial People's Committee and 30 gifts from the Party and State for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union said that in 2025, the Commune Trade Union has successfully completed the set targets, gradually improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities, creating cohesion between union members and trade union organizations and local authorities.
The achieved results are an important foundation for the Commune Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the coming time.
Stepping into 2026, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union determines to continue to promote the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; focus on developing union members, building strong trade union organizations; actively respond to emulation movements associated with socio-economic development tasks in the locality.
Highly appreciating the achieved results, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the proactiveness and creativity of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union in caring for and protecting the rights of union members.
Mr. Phan Huy Cuong requested the commune trade union to continue to promote its role, build an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
