95% of employees return to work after Tet holiday
According to the leaders of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor, before, during and after the Lunar New Year, the labor relations situation in the province was stable with no collective work stoppages or strikes. The thoughts and mood of the majority of workers, civil servants and laborers were always excited, assured in their work, trusting in the leadership of the Party and the management of the authorities at all levels; sharing difficulties, sticking together and accompanying the enterprises; labor safety was ensured, with no serious and fatal labor accidents occurring.
“As of the end of February 3, through the synthesis of trade unions at all levels in the province, 95% of employees returning home for Tet have returned to their workplaces safely; units and enterprises in the province have resumed normal production activities. A typical example is Samsung Electronic Vietnam - Thai Nguyen, an enterprise with a large number of employees in Thai Nguyen City, Pho Yen, Song Cong, and industrial parks in Thai Nguyen province,” said Mr. Pham Viet Dung.
It is known that on the morning of February 4, the delegation of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor visited, encouraged and presented Tet gifts to union members and workers at the Steel Rolling Mill of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company and Factory Z127. These are two key units of the province, playing an important role in the heavy industry and national defense.
In the warm atmosphere of the first days of the new year, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor sent New Year greetings to all workers, expressing gratitude for the efforts of the workers in the past year. The meaningful gifts were given directly to the union members and workers as a way to encourage and motivate them to continue to stick together, contribute to the development of the enterprise and the locality.
