Speaking at the contest Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia - Vice Principal of Tra Vinh University - said that banh xeo is a traditional dish with a strong flavor and cultural beauty of the Southern people.
Each cake is a blend of culinary quintessence and the true affection of the people here. When everyone gathers by the fire, pouring cakes, turning cakes and enjoying the dish, it is not only a delicious meal but also a moment of joy, sharing difficulties, connecting love in the family, between friends, colleagues and in the whole community.

Dr. Nghia hopes that through this contest, we will not only demonstrate our ingenuity and creativity in culinary arts but also work together to preserve and promote the precious traditional cultural values of the nation.
