Speaking at the contest, Dr. Nguyen Kim Quyen - Chairman of the Trade Union of Mekong University - said that the contest to display folk cakes on the occasion of the International Women's Day on March 8 aims to create a space for exchange, expressing the creativity and talent of cadres, lecturers, experts, staff, and union members in displaying and decorating folk cakes and familiar dishes.
Organizing the contest is not only an opportunity for women to demonstrate their talent and ingenuity, but also an opportunity to raise awareness of preserving and promoting the value of folk culture.
Dr. Nguyen Kim Quyen hopes that through the contest, female lecturers and staff will demonstrate their talents, honor traditional culture, and at the same time create opportunities to exchange, learn and enhance the role of women.
