19 units participate in Yen Bai Teachers Volleyball Tournament

The Education Trade Union of Yen Bai province has just organized the 6th "People's Teacher" Volleyball Tournament in 2024 with the participation of 19 units.

This is a practical activity within a series of activities to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024) and welcome Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

There are 19 units with 332 athletes participating in the tournament, competing in the following events: Men's leather volleyball for the education department, men's volleyball for the education department, women's volleyball for the education department, men's volleyball for the affiliated units, women's volleyball for the affiliated units.

After three days of organization, at the end of the tournament, 16 teams were awarded with 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 12 outstanding individuals.

The "People's Teacher" Volleyball Tournament of Yen Bai province is held annually to encourage cadres and teachers of the education and training sector of Yen Bai province to enthusiastically practice sports, create a friendly playground, and contribute to promoting the emulation movement "Good teaching, good learning" in schools.

At the same time, creating opportunities for exchange and learning among teachers contributes to improving the health and physical strength of cadres and teachers in mountainous areas.
