Expressing his joy at receiving Ambassador Ha Vi at a time when the two Parties, two countries and peoples are celebrating the important anniversaries of the two countries, Mr. Do Van Chien stated that in just over 10 days, the entire Party and people of Vietnam will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This is an important milestone for Vietnam to look back on the heroic national revolution, towards a new era of development; also an opportunity for the two countries to review the historical years when the two Parties, two countries, and peoples of the two countries stood side by side, overcame hardship, fought for national independence and built socialism.
Mr. Do Van Chien highly appreciated the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries that has maintained a good development trend in recent times. In particular, high-level exchanges and contacts take place closely with high frequency, political trust is enhanced, demonstrating the traditional affection and friendship of "comrades and brothers" between the two Parties and the two countries.
Regular high-level visits and contacts have continuously added momentum, maintained strong momentum for bilateral relations, helped cooperation work achieve new progress, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries. Substantial cooperation between the two countries has many bright spots and new breakthroughs. Traffic connection, especially railway connection with standard gauge, has achieved breakthrough progress. Local cooperation and people-to-people exchanges are taking place vigorously.

Mr. Do Van Chien expressed his joy and appreciated the good results achieved in the exchange and cooperation activities between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese Politburo in recent times, especially the Friendship Exchange Program between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese Politburo and the exchange between the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the 7 northern border provinces and the 2nd half of the local Politburo of China in April 2025 in China.
Mr. Do Van Chien hopes that in the coming time, the Chinese Embassy will continue to closely coordinate with relevant Vietnamese agencies to organize high-level delegation exchanges well, continue to pay attention to promoting substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides, especially in the fields of economy - trade, investment, and transportation connectivity; focus on implementing large, iconic projects, especially paying attention to standard railway lines connecting the two countries... The two sides actively expand cooperation in the field of science and technology to become a new bright spot, a new growth driver for the Vietnam - China relationship.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also hopes that the two countries will further strengthen their social foundations, deepen cultural, educational and tourism cooperation: Well implement the Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025, activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, considering this an opportunity to promote people-to-people exchanges and promote friendship. Promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese Premier League in promoting people-to-people exchanges and the younger generations of the two countries; well orient public opinion and the press, promote propaganda about the tradition of neighborly friendship between Vietnam and China, and strengthen a favorable social foundation for the development of bilateral relations.

President Do Van Chien also suggested that the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam continue to facilitate, support and closely coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front to strengthen cooperation between the two agencies, both at the central and local levels, especially in border localities; constantly expand the content and forms of specific and practical cooperation; encourage the Fatherland Front Committees, Political Committees at all levels and member organizations of each side, especially socio-political organizations such as youth, women, trade unions, etc. to strengthen cooperation.
Thanking the warm welcome of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, Ambassador Ha Vi said that the image of Chairman Do Van Chien and the Vietnamese people overcoming the consequences of natural disasters left a deep impression on the Ambassador.
On this occasion, Ambassador He Wei respectfully conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Chinese Premier Wang Ho Ning to Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.
According to Ambassador He Wei, in recent times, Vietnam and China have achieved outstanding achievements in socio-economic development. The two countries have formed outstanding economies, in which Vietnam has achieved many important results in bilateral economic, cultural and trade cooperation.
Ambassador He Vi also highly appreciated the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in promoting the spirit of great solidarity and maintaining political stability. In particular, under the leadership of General Secretary To Lam, Vietnam has been conducting the arrangement of the apparatus and administrative units, creating a premise for the country to develop in the coming time.
